I've often thought of starting a blog, because my good friend tells me my emails make her laugh. So if I can make someone smile or laugh with my ramblings, then maybe this will be a good idea! The desire/thought to start a blog has been in my head for quite some time, but I never followed through. When I was in school, I enjoyed writing papers/stories for english, so why not give it a shot.
Not being tech savvy, I googled how to start a blog and what to use....thus settling on this site. I'm sure i will learn as I go along and tweak it more...but to be safe, I went with something fairly easy. My daughter wasn't home to help me, so I'm attempting this on my own. Apologies in advance for errors! I will improve with time, I hope.
Next was a name for my blog. Not being super clever, I wasn't sure what catchy name to use. My name is Jamie, but my baby sister called me Fair Maiden, often shortening it to FM. I called her Queen Bee, shortening it to QB....so in honor of her, I chose fairmaiden. 64 is my birth year, Not very creative I know. At any rate, as of right now the blog is set up and I'm writing my first post!
So that's about it. As I have things pop in my head, I will share them with you..and hope maybe something I say will make someone smile!
